Halloysite is a silicate mineral, and the halloysite clay is fine and low in impurities. Mainly used in the production of high-grade ceramics, electric porcelain, crucibles and refractory materials. The use of halloysite is similar to that of kaolinite, and it is also a raw material for high-quality ceramics. It can be used in the chemical industry to synthesize molecular sieves and as a catalyst carrier, and as a filler in the plastics, rubber and paint industries.
